Developed under a grant awarded by the Michigan Department of Education, the Great Start Readiness Program is a preschool program specially for four year old children with factors that may put them at risk for educational failure. The program has a unique balance of learning opportunities for your child and using the HighScope Curriculum, emphasizing adult-child interaction, a carefully designed learning environment and a plan-do-reviews process that strengthens initiative and self-reliance in children.
